THERAPEUTIC / SUPERVISION AGREEMENT

• Counselling sessions will last 50 minutes.
• Supervision sessions will last 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes with previous agreement.
• Confidentiality will be kept unless there is reason to believe a client/supervisee is at risk to either self or others; a previously undisclosed crime has been committed; where it is found that children are at risk.
• Client/supervisee’s GP will only be contacted in the case of emergency and in discussion with the client/supervisee.
• Payment to be made prior to each session via bank transfer or at the beginning of each session by cash.
• Cancellation of sessions to be made a minimum of 24 hours before due time, when every effort will be made to find a new appointment in the same week.
• Any session not attended without notice or cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at the full fee. It is requested that this is paid by cash at next session or via bank transfer.
• Please give as much notice as possible for holidays, when advance appointments can be made.
• Clients will not be given advice or told what to do, but encouraged to use the time to explore their thoughts and feelings, and discover what it is they want to achieve during their time in therapy.

This agreement will be attached to your confirmation email. You will be asked to complete it and send it back via email prior to your first appointment where it will be discussed.
